Warped tour 2009 in Montreal was on July 11th. I went and had a blast. There was a contest my friend won and so she won the package of this band that the band was promoting for warped tour. Free CD, t-shirt Warped tour ticket and a backstage wrist band and a merchandise wrist band and what-ever else they stuck in the package deal. The band is called Lost deliveries; they are a local Montreal band trying to get more known, and they played on a smaller stage. We watched them perform on the Kia Kevin says stage it was fun. I got some great shots of them. They then had a contest afterwords to send in your warped tour pictures to them and win a signed copy of there CD. It just happened that I didn't buy a CD on the day of Warped Tour when we where hanging out with them. I woke up on Friday the 24th of July, to see an e-mail saying that I won the Contest. I also checked their myspace and that picture that they took to promote the contest on there myspace just happened to be one of my pictures that I took that day; just cropped a bit, and edited to black and white with the writing. Thank-you boys of Lost Deliveries, this can be a great start in my Photography career. Some much love for you. Maybe this is just the beginning of my photography. Who would have thought out of all the pictures that had got sent in, mine was picked as the best pictures.Very exciting. I don't how much longer they'll have that up on there myspace but I took the screen cap of it before they took it off. If you're looking for a new band that's good and soft to your ears but has stage presents and are really down to earth guys, I suggest look up Lost Deliveries on there myspace, facebook or even youtube them. You can have a really great conversation with them and they love to talk with everyone. When you go to a show, they personally come up to you and thank-you themselves for being there. I saw them twice already (again July 24th for the simple plan foundation Benefit thing that was going on over here in Longueuil, there was like 4 other local bands and we where only about 15-20 people + the crews and bands just hanging out.) Thank-you boys of Lost Deliveries once again for loving my pictures that I took. I really appreciate it!
